About the plugin
This WordPress plugin makes it possible to automatically implement AdSense section targeting to improve the relevancy of your AdSense ads on your blog and therefore boost your earning with more relevant ads.
With Auto Adsense Sections you can choose to implement section targeting on posts, pages, comments and/or excerpts.
Note that it may take up to 2 weeks to see results.

Installation
- Upload `auto-adsense-sections` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Change the settings under ”AdSense Sections”

Isn’t this against the Google Adsense TOS?
Nope, this is not against the Google Adsense Terms of Service. This is what Google says about it:
”You can use section targeting to make suggestions about as many sections of a page as you like. However, please be aware that we can’t guarantee results, and that it may take up to 2 weeks before our crawlers take into account any changes you’ve made to your site.
In order to properly implement this feature, you’ll need to include a significant amount of content within the section targeting tags. Including insufficient content may result in less relevant ads or PSAs. In addition, please keep in mind that this feature should only be used to emphasize significant sections of your site’s relevant content. It is against our program policies to manipulate the ad targeting to result in ads that are not relevant to the content of your pages.” – Google AdSense Help

I am quite confused still; after reading all this info about it.
How do I set up the ads? etc. ?
OR
Does it just automatically do ”something” based off of those THREE checkboxes I was given after I installed it – Yeah, That's all this consists of!

Hi Curt
You need to use a plugin or manually add ads from google adsense to your site. After that the changes with this plugin will give you more relevant ads on your pages.

It works quite well for me, but of course it depends on what your blog is about. If you don't use sections on your blog the ads will be based on all text on the current page. With this plugin the ads will be based only on the text in the post.
So, if you blog about cars in one post there is a greater chance that your ads will be about cars. This may give you more clicks on the ads because of inreased relevancy.
Note that this solution is nothing i came up with myself, nor is it a way to fool google. It's googles solution, i just made it a plugin for it. You can try the plugin for a few days and see if you get more relevant ads. If you feel that you don't need the plugin any more you can just disable it and the posts will go back to normal.
And note that it may take a few days or even weeks before you notice any difference in what ads will show up.
